Phyllis Rogers has been employed by the Carroll Mortgage Group for four years after starting her career as a residential loan officer over 11 years ago. She graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She was employed just out of college by a local bank in Hot Springs, Arkansas and from there she was promoted to Productivity/ Work Management Officer. In 1983 she married CPL. Alvernon Rogers. She moved to Arkadelphia and was employed by one of the local banks to work in the loan department. There she continued her education by taking various real estate and financial management courses at Henderson State University. In 1987, she and her husband relocated to Stuttgart, Arkansas and there she was employed at Farmers and Merchants Bank. There she worked in the Loan Department and received valuable training and experience in consumer, agricultural, commercial and residential lending. In 1990, she completed the H&R Block Individual Tax Preparation Course and Basic Tax Preparation Instructor Course and started instructing night classes in tax preparation. In 1994, the Arkansas State Police relocated them to Saline County and she became a residential loan officer in Little Rock with the goal to provide convenient lending hours to the clients and help buyers chart their path to home ownership. She believes "all clients are buyers today or tomorrow."
She contributes her longevity in the business of lending to hard work, HUN training courses and helping people become self sufficient.
In her spare time, she has served as the 83rd Arkansas Business and Professional Women State President. Currently she serves on the Bryant Water Commission, Boys and Girls Club of Bryant Board, ICONS Board, AR/BPW and Benton BPW Executive Board and as a volunteer for the William J. Clinton Presidential Center.
